Merry Little Christmas





This tutorial was written by me. 
Any similarity is purely coincidental. 
It was done using Gimp and
 was written for those who
 have experience using Gimp. 




Scrapkit  ~ Creation by Sanie called Christmas Delight ( from blogtrain Scrap-Junkies) Here
or scrapkit of choice

mask ~Becky mask 22 or mask of choice


Word art supplied or you can make your own

Just right click and save to your hard drive


Snowfall animation. ( I am using one that I got through a group and
I can't remember exactly who shared it so I can't get permission to share it with you , sorry)

Lets get started with this super easy tut!

Open canvas 600 x 600 white
Add layer and open element : Snowman with Candycane 01
resize to 275 pixels width and place to left side of canvas

add new layer, open element : Christmas Delight giftbox 03, resize to 60 width, place as you like at the feet of snowman
add new layer, open element: Christmas Delight giftbox 01, resize to 75 width, place as you like beside the first giftbox
add new layer , open element: Christmas Delight giftbox 02, resize to 60 width, place in front of other giftboxes
add new layer , open element : Christmas ball ribbon 03, resize to 130 width, move below last giftbox and position as you like 
duplicate and flip horizontally , position as you like
duplicate and move above boxes , position as you like it.
Add new layer, open element : Bear 2 , flip horizontallly , resize and position as you like 
duplicate , flip again and resize and position on the other side above presents

add new layer , copy and past word art , position and resize if needed 

Add your drop shadow of choice to elements
Hide white background layer
Merge visible layers, auto crop layer, resize to 550 
unhide white bg 
add layer above bg , floodfill with your choice of color or paper,right click ,
 add layer mask (Black transparent) copy and paste mask 
merge top layer down to mask layer

Add copyrights and license if needed

animate or ...
delete white bg
autocrop image, resize if needed , save as png

I took mine to animation shop and dup as many times as my snow ani
select all 
select all on your snow ani and copy then back to tag and paste into selected frame 
view animation and save as
